Elizabeth is a musculoskeletal physiotherapist with a strong academic and clinical background and has a passion for helping people move with confidence. She takes a personalised and holistic approach to physiotherapy, working closely with each patient to understand their individual goals and develop a rehabilitation plan tailored to them. She combines evidence-based exercise, education and manual therapy techniques to help patients make progress and feel confident in their recovery.
Elizabeth studied Biomedical Sciences with Health, Exercise and Nutrition at Cardiff before completing her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at King’s College London. She has experience treating a wide range of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, from running-related injuries and knee pain to persistent lower back pain. She understands that life can be busy, and therefore focuses on creating rehabilitation plans that are realistic, achievable and effective, while fitting around each patient’s lifestyle and helping them return to the activities they enjoy.
Movement and sport have always been an important part of Elizabeth’s life. Having danced throughout her childhood before taking up running in her early twenties, she understands both the physical and psychological challenges that can come with injury and rehabilitation. Elizabeth particularly enjoys helping patients understand their injury and feel confident and knowledgeable throughout their recovery journey. She also uses her sports massage and taping qualifications to complement her physiotherapy treatments. Whether the goal is returning to competitive sport, getting back to running, feeling more comfortable at work or just feeling stronger, Elizabeth is committed to working with each patient to help them achieve their goals.
Elizabeth has worked as a physiotherapist at events including the London Marathon and Royal Parks Half Marathon, as well as working as the physiotherapist for the Men’s and Women’s First Teams at a Premier League hockey club, supporting athletes competing at national and international level.
Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys travelling, running, long walks exploring new spots in London, and spending time with friends and family.
