Steve is a highly sought-after Chartered Physiotherapist and the Clinical Director at Wandsworth Physiotherapy and Osteopathy.
Steve began his career in 1999 after graduating with a degree in Sport Science. He initially worked in the fitness industry, helping people achieve their goals through personal training. During this time, he noticed that many clients were limited by injuries that prevented them from making progress in the gym. This sparked his passion for injury management and rehabilitation, leading him to retrain in physiotherapy.
After graduating in 2005, Steve worked in the NHS before being recruited as a physiotherapist at Fulham FC. His experience in elite sport gave him invaluable skills in assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation, which he has since applied to amateur athletes, recreational gym goers, and the general public. Since 2013, Steve has focused exclusively on private practice, building a reputation for delivering expert, evidence-based care.
Steve holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound and Ultrasound-Guided Injections (US & UGI) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Prescribing. He is highly skilled in diagnostic ultrasound imaging, ultrasound-guided injection therapy, and advanced rehabilitation strategies. He also has specialist training in radial and focused shockwave therapy (rESWT and fESWT), which he uses to treat complex tendon injuries, bone stress injuries, and pelvic health conditions.
In addition, Steve has undertaken specialist training in Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD) and advanced training in vestibular disorders through the UCL Ear Institute Advanced Audiology Masterclasses, further broadening his ability to support patients with head, neck, balance, and dizziness-related conditions.
Beyond diagnosis and treatment, Steve is passionate about end-stage rehabilitation and performance. He integrates technology such as VALD ForceDecks to collect objective data, monitor recovery, and tailor return-to-play or return-to-performance programs for athletes and active individuals.
Alongside his clinical physiotherapy work, Steve also offers aesthetic treatments – including anti-wrinkle, filler and Profhilo treatments, expanding his skillset to help clients achieve confidence in both movement and appearance.
