Are you looking to progress your rehab and prevent recurring injuries?

Does this sound familiar?

Then you have come to the right place

Our Exercise Rehabilitation Specialists are highly experienced in getting you out of pain and back to the activity or sport you love. We are used to seeing people with more recent acute pain as well as chronic, nagging or recurring long-term issues.

Exercise rehabilitation is a perfect way to complete your physiotherapy rehabilitation exercises under the guidance of a physiotherapist in a state of the art facility. This is ideally suited for those with prolonged rehab needs such as those recovering from ACL surgery, rotator cuff repair or even less severe injuries such as ankle sprains or calf tears.

Your therapist will take you through your exercise programme, including strength and flexibility exercises, to get you back to doing what you love. During the session you will be coached through the exercises to make sure you are moving correctly, loading appropriately and to monitor how your body responds. Subsequent sessions will progress the exercises to challenge and load the body so you can return to your sport or activity free from pain.

These sessions are delivered as open gym rehab to small groups of up to 4 patients at one time.

Benefits of Exercise Rehabilitation

If you like to train, you’ll know just how frustrating getting injured can be. Our experts can help you stay injury free and prevent you having to spend weeks or months recovering and rehabbing from injury. Functional movement assessment will also identify weak links that are likely to be hindering your training progress and athletic performance.

Our therapists will screen the quality of your movement to identify areas at risk of injury or reduced performance. Further, more detailed, strength and range of motion testing will be applied to guide the therapist in providing a training programme centred around preventing injury and improving performance, always whilst taking into account your goals and the demands of the activity/sport.

Your Therapist will train you in-clinic, but can also fully support your out-of-clinic training through advice, technique monitoring and training programme design.
