During paraffin wax therapy, the warm wax is applied to the desired area, such as your hands or feet. As the wax cools, it creates a warm, soothing sensation. The heat helps to increase blood flow to the area, which can relieve pain and relax muscles. Additionally, the wax acts as a barrier, trapping moisture in your skin and leaving it feeling soft and moisturised.
Paraffin wax therapy is commonly used for conditions such as arthritis, joint pain, muscle stiffness, and dry skin. It can also be a relaxing and enjoyable way to pamper yourself or relieve stress.
We use paraffin wax as a stand alone treatment or it with a relaxing massage or a facial treatment.
We will simply chat with you to find out what symptoms you have and what body part you want to have treated (hands or feet). The hand or feet will be submerged in warm wax, then the area will be wrapped for comfort and relaxation. Once wrapped we can perform some relaxing massage as part of the treatment.
Itâs not unusual to feel some benefit straight away however the treatment effects may be short lasting and repeated treatments are recommended for symptom relief and in combination with other treatment modalities.
A paraffin wax treatment is ÂŖ50 as a stand alone treatment and can also be added to a facial or other treatment for an additional fee upon discussion with your therapist.

My pain subsided with the exercises prescribed, and was a massive fan of Nuzhat Shaikh because she responded positively to my curiosity about human anatomy. I feel confident that I can manage my exercise load without aggravating my back, because I understand the signals my body is giving me better!
