Kirsty is a musculoskeletal physiotherapist with a passion for movement and rehabilitation. She takes a hands-on approach with a special interest in manual therapy and clinical pilates.
She graduated with a bachelor of physiotherapy from the University of Pretoria, South Africa in 2017 and completed further post graduate training in orthopaedic manipulative therapy, dry needling and sports taping. She is currently completing her joint injection and ultrasound training.
Kirsty has many years of experience in a private MSK setting ,as well as a special interest in diagnostics due to her experience in primary care as a first contact practitioner (FCP). This gives her a holistic view to patient diagnosis and treatment.
She completed her BASI Mat work pilates training in 2016 and she has been teaching clinical pilates for varying abilities for the past 8 years. She enjoys one to one sessions as well as small group classes. She has a special interest in neck pain and headache treatment, as well as post-operative rehabilitation. In her free time she enjoys photography and spending time being active outdoors.
Kirsty is a member of the Charted society of Physiotherapists and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. She is available on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
