Kim is a compassionate and holistic Physiotherapist, who draws upon a wealth of experience from both her background in elite sport and her specialist training in a large NHS Foundation trust.
Kim started her career as a Biomechanics and Sports Performance Analyst for a large Australian Sports Institute in 2011, working with a vast number of athletes. During this time she gained qualifications in Strength & Conditioning coaching and became an experienced Sports Massage Therapist. It was her drive to help people of all walks for life which brought Kim back to University in 2015 to complete her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy. Her specialist research area upon completing her Master’s degree was in foot mechanics, for which she received an academic excellence award for.
She has a special interest in sports Injury rehabilitation and tendinopathy management, but also has experience in Obstetric Physiotherapy & ante-natal exercise including pregnancy related MSK complaints including LBP, sciatica and PGP, post C-Section and delivery care rehabilitation including pelvic muscle floor training, 1st-3rd degree tear and episiotomy aftercare and DRA assessment and management.
She is an active member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists, the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists, and is registered with the Health & Care Professionals Council. When she’s not fulfilling her passion in helping her patients reach their goals, Kim can usually be found diving into a functional fitness competition, or enjoying a number of outdoor sports.
Kim delivers Physiotherapy, Acupuncture, and Sports Massage Therapy and Women’s Health appointments at Wandsworth Physiotherapy and Osteopathy. She is available on Mondays 8am-4pm and an alternating bi-monthly Friday evenings 6-8:30pm.
