Andreas Petrou

Andreas Petrou

Senior Osteopath & Massage Therapist

Since qualifying as an osteopath Andreas has developed a very keen interest in helping people with both sudden onset and longer term back and neck pain.

Andreas is able to get remarkable results combining his skills as an osteopath, his wealth of experience as a massage therapist and his more recent training in acupuncture and Pilates. He gets great satisfaction taking people from being in pain and using osteopathy, through to rehabilitating people back to their normal routine using Pilates. 

Andreas also has a Master’s degree in general psychology that helps him truly understand each person’s journey from pain and dysfunction back to normal movement and a life with reduced or no pain.

When he is not treating back pain, Andreas loves working with older people helping them improve mobility and function through osteopathy and Pilates and also has an interest in helping runners overcome injury and take part in their event.

Andreas is a registered osteopath with GOsC and member of the Institute of Osteopathy.

Andreas does structural osteopathy (sports and spinal injuries), massage, acupuncture, shockwave and Pilates.

Andreas works Tuesday evening, Thursday morning and evening, Friday evening, and Saturday at Wandsworth Physiotherapy and Osteopathy.

Christina is an enthusiastic and caring Physiotherapist with a background in sports and deep tissue massage. She has a keen interest in the bodies function as a hole with a focus on functional improvement, relaxation, and pain relief. She makes strong bonds with her clients and tailor’s sessions to their specific needs.

Upon graduating from in a Scandinavian international university for physiotherapy she returned to UK to continue her career. Throughout the pandemic she has worked with a verity of high-risk individuals on a personal and professional level giving her a high emotional intelligence and ability to discuss sensitive matters. She has a strong desire to get people back to doing what they love and takes great joy in achieving this.

Christina is a registered physiotherapist with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. She also does acupuncture, sports, deep tissue, tension release massage therapy.

Christina works Monday & Wednesday afternoons and evenings, and Tuesdays and Thursdays mornings at Wandsworth Physiotherapy and Osteopathy.

Jack Lidyard

Jack has worked in all aspects of Podiatry from diabetic and wound care clinics, nail surgery and reconstruction, rehab and post-surgery care including acupuncture, ultrasound and laser therapies. He has a keen interest in improving the environment for the foot to function in and uses a plantar pressure and plantar force platform to make sure we analyse the correct data to ensure this, therefore allowing insole/orthotic prescription manufacture and adjustment to achieve specific targeted results.

Jack Lidyard qualified from Brighton University as a Podiatrist in 2008 and immediately began working with athletes from an amateur to national level. John Fairhurst

Advanced Senior Physiotherapist

John successfully completed his degree in Physiotherapy BSc (Hons) at St. George’s University of London in 2008. He is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.  
 
After graduation, John completed his rotations in the NHS and in high level sports as physiotherapist for Gillingham FC Youth Team and Maidstone Rugby FC, all providing a broad holistic scope of practise before specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. 
 
John has a special interest in running and gym related injuries which stem from a background in running at 800m and 1500m at club level for Belgrave Harriers and resistance training from an early age. He personally uses a mix of running, cycling, resistance training and Pilates for his own healthy wellbeing, which flows into his treatment plans. He believes that having a broad range of activities helps to keep overuse injuries at bay. John has a passion of promoting exercise and lifestyle changes for the older populations and believes it is never too late to improve one’s longevity. 
 
As a doting father, John understands that time is a precious commodity, so he likes to ensure the plans for his client’s rehab journey is as efficient as possible to fit in with life’s busy schedules – quality over quantity can be the key to success. 
 
John is also skilled in using other treatment modalities to get great results – including sports and deep tissue massage, shockwave therapy and joint mobilisations. He a trained APPI level 2 Pilates instructor and uses strength and conditioning principles from his training as a personal trainer before qualifying as a physiotherapist. 
Kim Stanford

 Kim is a compassionate and holistic Physiotherapist, who draws upon a wealth of experience from both her background in elite sport and her specialist training in a large NHS Foundation trust.

Kim started her career as a Biomechanics and Sports Performance Analyst for a large Australian Sports Institute in 2011, working with a vast number of athletes. During this time she gained qualifications in Strength & Conditioning coaching and became an experienced Sports Massage Therapist. It was her drive to help people of all walks for life which brought Kim back to University in 2015 to complete her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy. Her specialist research area upon completing her Master’s degree was in foot mechanics, for which she received an academic excellence award for.

She has a special interest in sports Injury rehabilitation and tendinopathy management, but also has experience in Obstetric Physiotherapy & ante-natal exercise including pregnancy related MSK complaints including LBP, sciatica and PGP, post C-Section and delivery care rehabilitation including pelvic muscle floor training, 1st-3rd degree tear and eipisiotomy aftercare and DRA assessment and management.

 She is an active member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists, the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists, and is registered with the Health & Care Professionals Council. When she’s not fulfilling her passion in helping her patients reach their goals, Kim can usually be found diving into a functional fitness competition, or enjoying a number of outdoor sports.

Kim delivers Physiotherapy, Acupuncture, and Sports Massage Therapy and Women’s Health appointments at Wandsworth Physiotherapy and Osteopathy. She is available on Mondays 8am-4pm and an alternating bi-monthly Friday evenings 6-8:30pm.

Kirsty Mackay

Kirsty Mackay

Advanced Senior Chartered Physiotherapist

Kirsty is a musculoskeletal physiotherapist with a passion for movement and rehabilitation. She takes a hands on approach with a special interest in manual therapy and clinical pilates.

She graduated with a bachelor of physiotherapy from the University of Pretoria, South Africa in 2017 and completed further post graduate training in orthopaedic manipulative therapy, dry needling and sports taping. She is currently completing her joint injection and ultrasound training.

Kirsty has many years of experience in a private MSK setting ,as well as a special interest in diagnostics due to her experience in primary care as a first contact practitioner (FCP). This gives her a wholistic view to patient diagnosis and treatment.

She completed her BASI Mat work pilates training in 2016 and she has been teaching clinical pilates for varying abilities for the past 8 years. She enjoys one to one sessions as well as small group classes. She has a special interest in neck pain and headache treatment, as well as post-operative rehabilitation. In her free time she enjoys photography and spending time being active outdoors.

Kirsty is a member of the Charted society of Physiotherapists and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. She is available on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

Massage Therapist and Yoga Instructor

Kitti is one of our yoga teachers and massage therapists having completed her training in Ayurvedic Yoga Massage L1-2 with the Ayurvedic Yoga Massage Institute and more recently training in deep tissue massage and therapeutic massage at The London School of Massage.

Kitti combines techniques from Eastern and Western philosophies allowing her massage style a fluidity, depth, and grace. Breathing techniques assist in stilling and balancing the mind whilst the strength of deep muscular, pressure point and meridian work help loosen, release, and harmonise the body physically.

As a committed teacher and student  she has been practising yoga for 10 years and originally trained under Mark Ansari, Tobie Tomkinson and Austin Ince.  She likes to teach a mix of asana, pranayama, meditation and relaxation, with a strong focus on vinyasa flow and restorative Yoga.

Kitti offers deep tissue sports massage, relaxing Swedish massage and Ayurvedic Yoga Massage as well as yoga at Wandsworth Physiotherapy and Osteopathy on Wednesday evening, alternating Friday evenings and Sundays.

Khushboo is a dedicated physiotherapist passionate about enhancing the quality of life of patients through personalised care and comprehensive treatment plans. Her goal is to empower patients by providing education, hands-on therapy, pain management and a supportive environment to ensure they achieve successful recovery and long term health.

Khushboo graduated as a physiotherapist from Maharashtra University of Health sciences, India and then worked as a physiotherapist for BARCA Football Academy as well as in different inpatient and outpatient settings at K.J. Somaiya Hospital, Mumbai where she gained the necessary skills and techniques as a physiotherapist and also developed a keen interest in MSK and orthopaedics. The positive feedback from patients always kept her going!

Khushboo completed man MSc Physical Therapy in Musculoskeletal Healthcare and Rehabilitation from University College London and started working as a physiotherapist in London. She is registered with the HCPC and an active member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and has a special interest in yoga, ergonomics, cupping therapy and myofascial release and enjoy getting patients back to what they love doing! Outside of work, Khushboo enjoys regular swim sessions, aqua aerobics, dance workshops and spending time with friends and family.

Melinda is our dedicated Reflexologist, with a passion for holistic well-being and a commitment to enhancing the body’s natural healing abilities, she brings a wealth of expertise to our team. Whether you are seeking relief from stress, pain management, or simply a rejuvenating treatment, Melinda can guide your journey to better health.

Having been part of the admin team for some time, Melinda spent her time outside of the clinic studying her passion of complimentary therapies. She holds a Level 3 ITEC Reflexology and Level 3 Holistic Massage Therapy and Deep Tissue Massage diploma from the acclaimed Richdales Institute and obtained her Pre-Conceptual, Pregnancy, and Post-Natal qualification at the London School of Reflexology.

Each treatment is tailored to address individual needs and promote overall wellness. Melinda’s clients will have the option to choose from a variety of offerings, including traditional foot and hand reflexology, facial reflexology, relaxing Swedish Massage and Therapeutic Massage at Wandsworth Physiotherapy on Sundays.

Nuzhat earned her Bachelor of Physiotherapy from SBB College of Physiotherapy in Ahmedabad, India. During her professional practice in India, she gained extensive experience in treating musculoskeletal (MSK) and orthopaedic conditions. Her dedication to enhancing patients’ health and well-being has been a constant source of inspiration.
 
She furthered her expertise with a Master of Science in Musculoskeletal Science from University College London. Nuzhat is registered with the HCPC and is an active member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists.
 
Outside of work, Nuzhat enjoys reading books and hiking. Her holistic approach to physiotherapy and enthusiasm for lifelong learning contribute significantly to her effectiveness and dedication in her profession.

Prarthi is a dedicated Physiotherapist focused on cultivating positive patient relationships. She is committed to helping patients manage pain and injuries. Skilled in monitoring results and prescribing exercises for long- term health.

She graduated as a Physiotherapist from MUHS, India and afterwards she worked in inpatient and outpatient musculoskeletal departments, gaining her knowledgeable in broad caseload management.

She completed her MSc in Advanced Manipulative Physiotherapy from University of Birmingham, skilled in manual therapy techniques.

Prarthi is a registered physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professional Council and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. Prarthi has an interest in acupuncture and yoga and enjoys working with recreational athletes and those with poor posture suffering back pain.

Shreya graduated as a physiotherapist in 2019 in India. Since then her post graduate experience is in different clinical settings including private MSK clinic’s, hospitals and the home-based rehabilitation setting. 

On moving to the United Kingdom Shreya aspired to progress in her career in the field of sports injuries and obtain a master’s degree in sports and exercise therapy from Leeds Beckett University. During the course she have worked with Leeds Rhinos, Leeds Beckett Sports injury clinic and with Triathletes and UCI cyclists in the sports events.
 
Shreya’s aim is to give her best as a therapist and keep progressing to help her patients better.

Steve is a highly sought after chartered physiotherapist and the Clinical Director at Wandsworth Physiotherapy and Osteopathy.

Steve began his career in 1999 after graduating with a degree in sport science. Initially working out of a gym Steve helped people lose weight and look better through personal training. He quickly found that many gym goers suffered from niggling injuries that hampered their progress in the gym. A keen interest in helping people overcome their pain and injury led Steve to study physiotherapy.

After graduating in 2005 Steve worked in the NHS for 18 months before being recruited to work for Fulham FC as a physiotherapist. Steve’s keen interest in helping people with sports injury led him to establish his own physiotherapy practice where he is able to apply all he has learned at the elite level of sport and apply that to amateur athletes and regular gym goers. Steve has been working solely in private practice since 2013 and now specialises in ultrasound imaging, ultrasound guided injections and shockwave therapy.

Steve does physiotherapy (sports injuries and spinal injuries), ultrasound imaging, ultrasound guided injections, acupuncture, shockwave and nutrition (Nutritional Therapy and Sports Nutrition) and works most days at Wandsworth Physiotherapy and Osteopathy.

Please note we have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Please respect our therapists and give them more than 24 hours notice if you need to change or cancel an appointment. 

All appointments are secured with payment by credit or debit card or with medical insurance details. You are fully responsible for all appointments booked online. All appointments (including any booking errors you make) that are cancelled or amended within 24 hours of the start time, or not attended are non-refundable. If you are using medical insurance all cancellation cost are incurred by you and not by the insurance company. If you are unsure about your booking, please contact us before proceeding. By booking, you agree to these terms.

Failure to make payment on request will affect future appointments that we are able to offer you. Any refunds that are provided take 5-10 business days as per Stripe's payment terms.
