Andreas Petrou

Andreas Petrou

Senior Osteopath & Massage Therapist

Andreas is a registered osteopath and member of the Institute of Osteopathy. He joins us with over 8 years sports massage experience in The City and has also worked with dance companies.  He treats all kinds of back, neck, shoulder, hip, knee and foot discomfort or pain and also treats sports injuries. He has a masters in general psychology and assists how people conceptualise and manage their injury.

Andreas works Tuesday morning and evening, Thursday and Friday evening, and Saturday at Wandsworth Physiotherapy and Osteopathy using structural osteopathy and massage.

Andreas does osteopathy (sports and spinal injuries), massage and Pilates.

Grace Archer

Grace Archer

Senior Chartered Physiotherapist & Massage Therapist

Grace graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 2015 with a Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy.

She started out in the NHS, gaining a vast amount of experience across numerous different areas before pursuing a career in private practice. During this time, Grace also worked closely with numerous national sports teams such as the Women’s Welsh National Lacrosse Team and Holcombe Women’s Hockey Club. Her interest in sports stemmed from a personal sporting career, where she also completed a degree in Sports and Exercise Science at Loughborough University graduating in 2013.

Grace enjoys treating all kinds of people of any age or goal in mind; from being able to play with your grandchildren to completing a marathon.

Grace has a special interest in sports injuries and works Monday afternoon; and Tuesday and Thursday mornings at Wandsworth Physiotherapy and Osteopathy.

Grace does physiotherapy (sports and spinal injuries), acupuncture, and sports massage.

Jack Lidyard

Podiatrist

Jack has worked in all aspects of Podiatry from diabetic and wound care clinics, nail surgery and reconstruction, rehab and post-surgery care including acupuncture, ultrasound and laser therapies. He has a keen interest in improving the environment for the foot to function in and uses a plantar pressure and plantar force platform to make sure we analyse the correct data to ensure this, therefore allowing insole/orthotic prescription manufacture and adjustment to achieve specific targeted results.

Jack Lidyard qualified from Brighton University as a Podiatrist in 2008 and immediately began working with athletes from an amateur to national level. Jack is experienced in all aspects of Podiatry, from wound care clinics, to nail surgery & reconstruction, to rehab & post surgery care including acupuncture, ultrasound and laser therapies.

Nick Dawes

Nick Dawes

Senior Chartered Physiotherapist & Massage Therapist

Nick has been a chartered physiotherapist for the past 15 years with experience of working within elite sports, private practice and the NHS. He has worked within the UK, South East Asia and the USA, delivering the set up of medical departments.

Having been head of physiotherapy and medical services within professional sports, Nick now works as an independent practitioner, teaching and consulting with various sports teams and their medical staff across the UK. With his experience comes a special interest in sports injuries where he has completed masters research. He continues to deliver 1:1 treatment sessions and is passionate about delivering the right level of care to ensure his clients return to their required pre injury level of activity.

Nick works Thursday evenings, Saturday and Sunday at Wandsworth Physiotherapy and Osteopathy doing physiotherapy and sports massage.

Sid Shah

Sid Shah

Senior Chartered Physiotherapist, Acupuncturist & Massage Therapist

Sid originally graduated with a degree in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture. Since then, she has developed her skillset through a diploma in Sports and Remedial Massage from LSSM and has also trained as a Chartered Physiotherapist.

Sid currently works full-time at Wandsworth Physiotherapy and Osteopathy, providing physiotherapy, women’s health physiotherapy, acupuncture, cupping and massage therapy.

Throughout her studies Sid has had a growing interest in treating sports injuries and has taken up several opportunities to work with runners, skaters and martial artists. Sid is also a member of the Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy society (POGP) with a special interest in pre and post natal women’s health and pelvic floor issues

Sid does physiotherapy (sports and spinal injuries) women’s health, Traditional Chinese Acupuncture and massage.

Steve Hines

Steve Hines

Clinical Lead Chartered Physiotherapist & Nutritional Therapist

Steve is a highly sought after chartered physiotherapist and the clinical lead at Wandsworth Physiotherapy and Osteopathy.

Steve began his career in 1999 after graduating with a degree in sport science. Initially working out of a gym Steve helped people lose weight and look better through personal training. He quickly found that many gym goers suffered from niggling injuries that hampered their progress in the gym. A keen interest in helping people overcome their pain and injury led Steve to study physiotherapy.

After graduating in 2005 Steve worked in the NHS for 18 months before being recruited to work for Fulham FC as a physiotherapist. Steve’s keen interest in helping people with sports injury led him to establish his own physiotherapy practice where he is able to apply all he has learned at the elite level of sport and apply to that amateur athletes and regular gym goers.

Steve does physiotherapy (sports injuries and spinal injuries), acupuncture, massage and nutrition (Nutritional Therapy and Sports Nutrition) and works most days at Wandsworth Physiotherapy and Osteopathy.

Consulted for: Fulham FC, Essex County Cricket Club, Chelsea FC, Brentford FC, Ernest Bevan Elite Sports College, Hard Rock Cafe, Lloyds of London.

Thecla Tanswell

Thecla Tanswell

Senior Osteopath & Pilates Instructor

Thecla graduated from The British School of Osteopathy in 2016 with a masters degree and is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and a member of the Institute of Osteopathy. She enjoys treating people of all ages and uses a wide range of different techniques.

After graduation Thecla went on to complete a post graduate certificate in specialist paediatric osteopathic practice at the UCO. She also specialises in women’s health, especially new and expectant mothers with lower back pain, pelvic girdle pain and rectus diastasis. She has an interest in treating headaches and is a member of ‘Osteopaths for the progression of headaches and migraines’.

Thecla’s has continued her training by studying Pilates, which is a form of exercise to improve posture, muscle tone, flexibility and proprioception. It is particularly useful to those suffering from ongoing aches and pains. Thecla’s Pilates training means she can enhance her treatments with rehabilitating exercises, preventing further complication and injury. 

Thecla does Osteopathy (spinal injuries), Osteopathy for babies, women’s health, massage and Pilates. Thecla works Monday afternoon /evening, Tuesday morning and Wednesday afternoon / evenings at Wandsworth Physiotherapy and Osteopathy.

Cancellation policy

Please note we have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Please respect our Physiotherapists and Osteopaths and give them more than 24 hours notice if you need to change or cancel an appointment. Failure to do so will incur a cancellation charge and result in you needing to pre-pay for appointments thereafter.
